20 years of experience in professional sports and more than 10.000 customers have shaped up the know-how, the eye for motion patterns and the feeling for what triggers need to be pulled to create lasting change in automized motion patterns. FLUGPHASE's core competency lies in running biomechanics. We give technique workshops throughout Europe; we write effective training programs for running, cycling, duathlon, and high-altitude trekking.
Practice before theory. Technique before training. Variety before monotony. Less is more. Efficiency is key. Efficiency from Switzerland for the world: FLUGPHASE.

The United States of America and (their) Razorbacks shaped Larissa's life the most. Ok,let's not forget about sports...

At a mere 4 years of age, Larissa started her running career. At 15, she became member of the German national team, which she was part of until her running retirement. At 18,she broke the age group record at the NYC Marathon (3:18hrs), never having run more than 16km prior to the race. Her record stood strong for a decade.

At 20, she moved to the United States to accept a full athletic scholarship at the University of Arkansas where she became a Razorback and team captain in Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track.

University of Arkansas

After a brief stint to Boston University  her freshman year 1998, Larissa transferred to Arkansas to study business. She represented her university as a distance runner in the NCAA Div. I system, where young world-class talents from all over the globe come together to compete for their universities.
With plenty of NCAA All-America honors, SEC titles, SEC records, school records, and MVP honors in her pocket and burnt out from running at the age of 24, Larissa hung up her light spikes in 2002: Retirement - Part I.

In 2004, the most valuable years filled with a rich, multi-dimensional learning curve of Larissa's life ended, when she moved back to Europe after having completed her Bachelor's and MBA degrees in Marketing at the Walton College. One last MBA semester in France marked the beginning of a second, unforeseen career in sports:

Professional cycling

Spikes were exchanged by stiff and heavy carbon cycling shoes in 2004 in Toulouse. By accident, Larissa suddenly arose as a pro cyclist on road & track and popped up at the world-lass level out of nowhere after a winter of training in France.

5 years in pro cycling competing in World Cups, European & World Championships as well as international stage races culminated with a disappointing miss of the Beijing Olympics 2008. In her two years as a track cyclist, Larissa belonged to the world's top 10 in the 3000m individual pursuit.

Cyling turned turned out as another steep, rough learning curve that would shape her life experience and personality. In 2009 after contracting mononucleose, Larissa retired once again and for good from sports: retirement , take two.

Switzerland

It became time for execution: time to put everything into practice Larissa had learned as an athlete and as an college business student in the United States. Time to put personality, creativity, analytical and strategic thinking into practice. Time to keep leaving out egos, because they always get in the way of performance.

It did not take long to figure out that it was impossible to put all those life learnings into direct  execution as an employee in Europe.

Thus, it became time to create her own path in the business world: a career as a female entrepreneur in a country that gives the best ground to grow businesses: Switzerland - the land of natural inspiration and  breath-taking scenery where creative and efficient business concepts grow best.
